Sanjay Gowda

AMA, Inc., a leader in engineering and business enterprise solutions, announces the promotion of Dr. Sanjay Gowda to Jr. Vice President, 3i Solutions. The 3i Group will provide customized software systems and systems integration for engineering, manufacturing, business, and medical applications.

Dr. Gowda brings a decade of engineering and software development expertise to the 3i Solutions Division. He has led projects providing web-based access to engineering and systems design data for NASA Centers nationwide. His team’s groundbreaking collaborative engineering environment with fully integrated software systems has been recognized by NASA as a “Pioneering Technology.” Team recipient of the 2002 NASA Headquarters’ award, “Turning Goals into Reality,” the work was also noted in InfoWorld as one of the world’s top 100 software innovations during 2002.

Dr. Gowda holds graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University. While there, he was instrumental in creating the Virtual Reality Computer Integrated Manufacturing Laboratory. He has provided consulting services and published numerous papers on Virtual Reality for manufacturing and on software architectures for collaborative engineering environments.

He wants to thank all who he came in touch with at the VRCIM lab. A wonderful experience and team that has helped shape who he is both professionally and personally. Special thanks to Dr. S.
